Ashhwika Foundation

On August 12th, 2023, the Ashhwika Foundation, in collaboration with Fevicol Company, organized a vibrant Flag Making Competition at the Naari Centre in Vasant Kunj. The event was part of the Independence Day celebrations and aimed to foster creativity, unity, and a sense of patriotism among the students of the Naari Centre, which is supported by the foundation. The competition brought together students from all the centre’s branches, showcasing their artistic talents and celebrating the spirit of independence.

The Flag Making Competition was a lively and engaging event that encouraged students to express their love for the country through art. Participants were provided with art supplies, including colors, brushes, and paper, to create their interpretations of the Indian flag. The theme of the competition was “Freedom Through Art,” highlighting the power of creativity in expressing and celebrating the values of freedom, unity, and diversity.

Students enthusiastically immersed themselves in the creative process, showcasing their artistic skills, imagination, and passion for their country. The competition not only provided a platform for artistic expression but also promoted teamwork, collaboration, and cultural appreciation among the participants.

The collaboration with Fevicol Company added an exciting element to the event, as participants explored innovative techniques and materials to bring their flag designs to life. The competition encouraged students to think outside the box, experiment with colors and textures, and showcase their unique perspectives on the significance of independence and national identity.

Throughout the competition, the atmosphere was filled with joy, excitement, and a sense of camaraderie as students worked together to create beautiful and meaningful artworks. Volunteers from the Ashhwika Foundation and Fevicol Company provided guidance, encouragement, and support to the participants, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for artistic exploration.

The judging criteria for the competition included creativity, originality, adherence to the theme, and overall visual impact. Each participant’s artwork was evaluated based on these criteria, and winners were selected in different categories, including Best Interpretation of the Flag, Most Creative Design, and Most Inspirational Artwork.

The Flag Making Competition at the Naari Centre was not only a celebration of artistic talent but also a reflection of the values of unity, diversity, and freedom that India stands for. The event served as a platform to nurture creativity, instill a sense of pride in national heritage, and promote inclusivity and cultural harmony among the students.

The Ashhwika Foundation’s commitment to supporting the holistic development of individuals was evident in the organization of such engaging and meaningful events. By collaborating with partners like Fevicol Company, the foundation created memorable experiences that fostered creativity, community spirit, and a deeper appreciation for India’s rich cultural heritage.

As the winners were announced and prizes were distributed, the joy and sense of achievement among the participants were palpable. The Flag Making Competition at the Naari Centre not only celebrated Independence Day but also empowered students to express themselves artistically, embrace diversity, and contribute positively to their communities.
