Ashhwika Foundation

On March 29th, 2023, the Ashhwika Foundation, a leading mental health awareness NGO, organized a highly informative and empowering workshop at Rajdhani College. The workshop focused on two crucial topics: Career Anxiety and Anger Management, targeting B.A students of the college. The session was led by licensed and certified psychologist Peyush Batiya, offering valuable insights, strategies, and support to help students navigate these common challenges effectively.

The workshop began with an introduction to the prevalence of career anxiety and the impact it can have on mental well-being and academic performance. Students were encouraged to share their experiences and concerns related to career planning, job uncertainty, and societal expectations. This open dialogue created a supportive environment for addressing anxieties and exploring proactive coping strategies.

Licensed psychologist Peyush Batiya delved into the causes and symptoms of career anxiety, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, goal-setting, and resilience in managing career-related stressors. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, students gained valuable insights into identifying their strengths, passions, and career pathways aligned with their values and aspirations.

Furthermore, the workshop addressed the critical issue of anger management, providing students with tools and techniques to express and channel their emotions constructively. Licensed psychologist Peyush Batiya facilitated discussions on triggers, coping mechanisms, and communication skills, empowering students to navigate conflicts, frustrations, and stressors in a healthy and productive manner.

The interactive nature of the workshop allowed students to engage actively, ask questions, and participate in role-playing scenarios to practice new skills. The foundation’s emphasis on evidence-based strategies and professional guidance from Peyush Batiya ensured that students received accurate information and practical support for managing career anxiety and anger effectively.

As part of its holistic approach, the Ashhwika Foundation also provided educational resources, handouts, and self-help tools to complement the workshop’s teachings. These resources served as valuable references for ongoing self-care and personal development beyond the workshop.

The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the opportunity to gain insights and skills to enhance their mental well-being. Students reported feeling more confident, empowered, and equipped to navigate career challenges and emotional triggers with resilience and self-awareness.

The success of the workshop at Rajdhani College highlighted the Ashhwika Foundation’s commitment to addressing mental health concerns among college students and providing relevant, accessible support. By collaborating with licensed professionals like Peyush Batiya and tailoring workshops to specific audience needs, the foundation continues to make a meaningful impact in promoting mental wellness and resilience.

Moving forward, the foundation remains dedicated to offering workshops, resources, and advocacy initiatives that empower individuals to prioritize their mental health, build healthy coping strategies, and achieve their full potential in academic, professional, and personal spheres.
